Saturday 3rd November 2012

Good news and bad news this month. Starting with bad news:

1. The feature film 'Scars' directed by Nathan Ballard has been cancelled due to lack of funds. Hopefully, the project will resume in the future.

2. Due to heavy workload, I had to step out from the Detective Orange video game developed by Geoff Kadze. I really believe that the game will be a great release and wish Geoff all the best.

3. My video installation based on the Classical Elements will be postponed until further notice due to heavy workload and prioritising on other projects. However, the first part will be soon released on some website such as last.fm and many more.

4. I'll also have to postpone my blog for some time. Can you guess the reason? Yes, it's because of heavy workload. :)

5. It has been decided from the Inferno Team not to release the soundtrack as individual. Thus, you'll be able to listen to the music only in-game.

On the good news now...

1. 'From Beneath' is nearly its ending stage. We have 5 tracks so far ready and I am working for another 5. Hopefully, the game will be released on the first trimester of 2013.

2. 'Fall of Nations' is moving slowly but moving. Music composition process has been stopped for the time being as there are constant changes on storyline and cinematics. As soon as they are all cleared, I will start writing again. There are some demos available to the team and the feedback is positive so far.

3. I have decided to collaborate with an old friend of mine who is a computer programmer. We decided to create our own video game company (still we don't have a name!!) and our first release will be a dungeon crawler game!! I have started working on themes for the main menu and some drafts for in-game music. More news will come up soon.

I know that I'm not updating very often but please visit every now and then just in case you find something interesting!

Best.

Sunday 13th August 2012

It is with great pleasure to announce my new collaboration with USA-based game developer Diego Alegre and his new horror adventure video game 'From Beneath'. I have already started composing themes and the game development is very fast so we hope the game will be released by the end of the year or the first trimester of 2013. More news to follow soon and of course there will be a sneak sound preview in some of the themes!!

Stay tuned!

Saturday 4th February 2012

Hello all,

Lots of things happened in the past few months since the last update.

1. Unfortunately, due to workload, I had to cancel my collaboration with MangaTellers and their project 'Mythos'.

2. The video game mod 'Command and Conquer: Fall of Nations' is going well. Since it's announcement back in August, the site has been visited by more than 30,000 players around the world. It is more likely that the game will be on its final stages by the end of 2013 and released in the first semester of 2014.

3. I have started working on an Arts Installation project based on the Classical Elements as known in western countries. The project will be divided in 5 parts: Water, Earth, Fire, Air and Aether. The intention of this project is not only to project visually and musically the elements as they are but also identify the philosophical aspects that lie behind. Though, first part is completed musically, it is a long-term project with a possibility to go out in 5-6 years.

4. Finally, I will be writing soon a series of articles here in my blog about Minimalist Music in Cinema. It will begin with basic concepts of Minimalism as a Musical Movement,  philosophical and psychological aspects and finally I will try to show how famous non-Minimalist composers such as John Williams are using minimalist techniques in their compositions. First article will be probably be posted by March.

Stay tuned as more things are coming!

Monday 11th May 2009

Hello Everyone!

Since I have finished my studies at the university for this academic year, I can finally focus on writing music for the video game 'Inferno: Alliance' developed by Hard Light Productions.

Things so far are going as planned and we believe that by February next year the game will be published. I am also thinking of releasing an album in mp3 format with the soundtrack of the video game. It should be with at least 30 songs or maybe even more and it will have a reasonable price.

On the other project of the year 'The Corridor of Times', directed by Zahos Samoladas and produced by Magic Lantern Productions, we have an unfortunately stepback due to some changes at the screenplay. So instead of the movie to be released in September 2009, it might delay for 1-2 months.

Stay tuned!

Hello Everyone!

It's been a long time since the last update but I believe it actually worth the time...

First of all, a new section has been added to the page called 'Guestbook'. That's right, you can leave now comments about anything you like (or dislike) in this site. Second, there have been made some changes in the 'Portfolio and Samples' section. Taken off some old samples and reorganized the previous ones. Finally, now you can listen one of the first tracks for the video game that I'm working for the music score. It's entitled 'Mission Briefing' and you can find it in the 'Portfolio and Samples' section. Just have a listen and drop a comment in the guestbook!

In other news, the film 'The Corridor of Times' that I'm writing the music score, had faced some difficulties with the screenplay so we went a little back in schedule. Hopefully we'll be back on track early next month so we can catch up the deadlines for some festivals that we want to participate.

Thank you all for your patience and stay tuned for more news!

Friday 9th January 2009

Welcome to my new website!!

I was looking forward to create something like that since I'm trying to take my work into the next level, to become more 'professional'.

This website is specially designed to promote my work and seek new collaborations and job offers but that does not mean that if you are just a visitor here you can't spend some time and browse in case you find something good for you.

Things have started well in 2009. I already have  2 projects on the way, one of them is about to finish by the late of this month and to be released around March or April the latest. The other project is the movie entitled 'Taste of Centuries: Corridor of Time' directed by Zahos Samoladas and produced by Magic Lantern Motion. Deadline for this one is on September 2009 and is about to participate on Thessaloniki's Film Festival which is taking place in November the same year.

The third project entitled 'Scars' and directed by Nathan Ballard runs with zero speed at the moment due to some difficulties with time schedules but I hope we'll get over these.

Finally, I'm trying to enter the video game industry by writing music scores or even sound design. My attempts have finally paid and at the moment I'm in negotiations for composing music and sound effects for a role playing game. I can't give much information at the moment since I'm obligated not to, but as soon as this one becomes official, I'll let you know.

Stay tuned for more news and enjoy your stay here.
